Approve a Veterans Hall rental Fee Waiver in the amount of $1,212.00 for Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for their fundraising Bingo Games. (Fifth District)

Executive Summary:
Prior to the COVID shut-down, Russian River Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence held monthly Bingo Game nights as fundraisers for several non-profit organizations including the Russian River Sisters. The Russian River Sisters are now holding their first games since the shut-down to once again provide proceeds to support non-profits. Each game night will serve approximately 192 participants. Their regular West County location for the games is currently unavailable and the fundraiser was required to move to the Santa Rosa Veterans building’s Lodge Room.
Discussion:
The Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence® are a leading-edge Order of queer and trans nuns who advocate that all people have a right to express their unique joy and beauty.
Since their first appearance in San Francisco on Easter Sunday, 1979, the Sisters have devoted to community service, ministry and outreach to those on the edges, and to promoting human rights, respect for diversity and spiritual enlightenment.
