Executive Summary:
The Board of Supervisors has requested that staff provide quarterly updates on the Ad Hoc activities to keep the Board and the public informed about the progress being made by these committees. Each committee is unique in its mission, outcomes, and process, therefore individual committee reports are being included.
Discussion:
On January 26, 2021, the Board of Supervisors approved the Ad Hoc assignments for 2021 calendar. The Ad Hoc committee assignments are as follows:

Summary of Key Highlights
The Ad Hoc updates covering information through March 2021 are included as Attachments A-E. Key highlights of the updates for this period include:
The Emergency Medical Services Ad Hoc reviewed information related to the final draft of the Exclusive Operating Area Request for Proposal process and discussed options for broadening the Mobile Support Team.
The Fire Services Ad Hoc directed the Fire Services Work Group to develop an implementation and outreach plan for bringing a new tax for the June 2022 ballot.
The Climate Ad Hoc is hosted a Climate Town Hall on April 6, 2021 as a Special Meeting of the Board and are in the process of planning for a May 11, 2021 Board Climate Workshop.
The County Government Center Ad Hoc held several meetings with staff and City of Santa Rosa representatives to discuss the opportunities for a downtown County Government Center.
The Measure O Ad Hoc requested scenarios for new programming and directed the Office of Equity and Communications assist with making the public aware that applications for the oversight committee were being accepted.
