B) Review and approve Ad-Hoc assignments for members of the Board of Supervisors for the year 2021.

Executive Summary:
Annually the Board discusses strategic priorities and Board content for consideration. Additionally, each year, the Board reviews ad-hoc assignments.
Discussion:
Twice annually the Board reviews proposed items of significant public interest. Per the Board Rules of Procedure the Board will again review the proposed items of significant interest mid-year. The proposed 2021 Board Calendar will be brought back to the Board for final approval at the February 9, 2021 Board meeting. Staff has added one additional regular Board meeting to the Board’s calendar (February 23).
At the January 5, 2021 meeting, the Chair requested that Ad Hoc assignments return on the next regular agenda for discussion. Once the Board has approved the 2021 ad hoc assignments, a completed list will be placed on file with the Clerk of the Board, and will be posted on the Board’s website.
