end
Executive Summary:
This item updates the wording of previously passed resolutions per direction from the State Department of Housing and Community Development to authorize the Executive Director of the Community Development Commission to enter into agreements to receive State emergency funding to address homelessness.
Discussion:
Previously approved resolutions named prior Commission Executive Directors Margaret Van Vliet and Geoffrey Ross as the executives authorized to enter into agreements for State Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) and California Emergency Solutions and Housing (CESH) funding. The Commission has adjusted these resolutions to designate any acting Executive Director or Assistant Executive Director of the Community Development Commission to enter into these agreements, thereby allowing Barbie Robinson or Carrie Kronberg to approve the Commission’s receipt of these funds. Approval of these updated resolutions will not result in any additional funding or budget changes not already approved by this Board.
