Executive Summary:
The Sonoma County City Selection Committee asks the Board of Supervisors to approve the recommendations of:
1. Teresa Barrett, Mayor of Petaluma, to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to a 2-year term, March 2019 to March 2021.
2. Gina Belforte, Mayor of the City of Rohnert Park, to the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway & Transportation District to a 2-year term, January 2019 to January 2021.
3. Gina Belforte, Mayor of the City of Rohnert Park, to the Remote Access Network (RAN) Board to an unspecified term, but must be filled by a mayor.
Discussion:
At the January 31, 2019, Sonoma County City Selection Committee meeting which met at Healdsburg City Hall at 6:00pm, the City Selection Committee recommended by unanimous vote:
1. Teresa Barrett, Mayor of Petaluma, to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District to a 2-year term, March 2019 to March 2021.
2. Gina Belforte, Mayor of the City of Rohnert Park, to the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway & Transportation District to a 2-year term, January 2019 to January 2021.
3. Gina Belforte, Mayor of the City of Rohnert Park, to the Remote Access Network (RAN) Board to an unspecified term, but must be filled by a mayor.
