Executive Summary:
Russian River Pride parade and festival are free events. A fee waiver is recommended to help keep the event’s budget within means.
Discussion:
Russian River Pride is 100% volunteer based. Donations are used to support operational costs to hold the Parade and Festival and additionally to fund exhibits during Pride week such as Flag in the Map and the AIDS Quilt Memorial Display. Excess funds are distributed as part of Russian River Pride’s annual grants program to local not-for-profit organizations that support the Lower Russian River communities.
