Executive Summary:
The Board of Supervisors (Board) approved the Lower Russian River Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) on September 25, 2018.
Discussion:
The proposed changes to the Bylaws will remove term limits on the representatives, making it possible for representatives to be re-appointed by the Supervisor.
Because many of our smaller communities find it difficult to fill representative slots with the term limit requirement, the representatives of the Lower Russian River MAC approved the removal of the term limits. The Lower Russian River MAC approved the change during their August 18, 2022 meeting.
All efforts will continue to be made to achieve wide community engagement, to mentor and to encourage new volunteers and representatives.
