Executive Summary:
The Board of Supervisors approved the Lower Russian River Municipal Advisory Council on September 25, 2018.
Discussion:
The proposed changes to the Bylaws clarifies number of positions including alternates, affirms that vacancies will be posted in accordance with the Maddy Act, renames Pocket Canyon area: Guerneville South / Pocket Canyon, updates terms to allow for reappointment beyond term limits if the Board of Supervisors makes a finding that an insufficient number of applications were received to fill the number of vacancies, clarifies that service as an alternate does not count towards term limits, and updates outdated language pertaining to initial set-up of the Lower Russian River Municipal Advisory Council.
