Big Event is a free event serving as a fundraiser for Bodega Volunteer Fire Department. A fee waiver is recommended to help keep the event’s budget within means.
Discussion:
Bodega Volunteer Fire Department serves the community, relies on a completely volunteer group of firefighters and board members, and has no tax assessment income. The Big Event has been held annually for many years, is open to the public without an admission charge, and is the largest single source of income for the Bodega Volunteer Fire Department.
