Executive Summary:
The Springs Municipal Advisory Council (MAC) is requesting a fee waiver for the Springs MAC second annual Winter Celebration event happening Saturday, December 23, 2023 in the Springs.
Discussion:
This is a 2-hour FREE family friendly winter community event, providing hot chocolate, cookies, treats and an opportunity to take pictures with Santa Claus. It will be hosted by the Springs Municipal Advisory Council in partnership with Sonoma Immigrant Services and the Fairmont Mission Inn. The event will take place at the county parking lot at 22 Boyes Blvd, Boyes Hot Springs. This event will bring joy and provide an opportunity for community connectedness and belonging. Last year's event highlighted the need for gifts in our community and the joy of taking home a FREE picture with Santa Claus. This event also provides the Springs MAC an opportunity for outreach and visibility in the community.
