Approve a Veterans Hall rental Fee Waiver in the amount of $600.00 for Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Chapter 223 for their fundraising car show which occurred on July 1, 2023. (Fifth District)
Discussion:
VVA’s goals are to promote and support the full range of issues important to Vietnam veterans, to create a new identity for this generation of veterans, and to change public perception of Vietnam veterans. Since returning from COVID restrictions, the VVA’s annual car show raises funds to assist veterans and their families who are in need. The event occurred on July 1, 2023 at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building.
